A Tuckahoe Plantation Engagement | Kris + Doug | Richmond, Virginia

Tuckahoe Plantation is a beautiful estate located in Richmond, Virginia that is full of history and beautiful gardens and grounds. Kris + Doug fell in love with the idea of getting married there when they decided to get married. Tuckahoe Plantation was also the perfect place for us to do their engagement portraits too! It was a brisk spring morning, but you wouldn’t have known it by the smiles and love you are about to see.

Kris + Doug met and began their journey together after meeting at work a few years back. They recently moved to Richmond and have been busy with their new home and wedding preparations. Doug had been kidding that they bypassed the ring in lieu of the house that they are making their new home, but came to this engagement session with a little surprise of his own. A beautiful ring and a sweet proposal that surprised both Kris and I! It was an honor to witness this beautiful moment between them.
