A Smith Mountain Lake Engagement | Roanoke, Virginia | Kaitlyn + Moses

Kaitlyn and Moses’s love story began on “Coffee Meets Bagel“—a hip new online dating platform! They met while both living in Washington, DC—Kaitlyn a teacher, and Moses, finishing his medical schooling at George Washington University. The romance began and they became engaged last year. Moses has since moved to Roanoke, Virginia to work on his medical residency. Smith Mountain Lake was the spot they both wanted to have their engagement photos taken at. Kaitlyn has great memories of Bernard’s Landing where her grandparents live—and was the site of our many photos for their engagement session. We even got the Star Wars props out for a little fun in between locations!

Smith Mountain Lake didn’t disappoint—and neither did their pup, Daizey—what a cutie! She loved being included in this special session as she is very much part of their family. I love it when dogs get to be a part of the photo session!!! Kaitlyn and Moses will get married next fall in Northern Virginia. Congratulations on your engagement Kaitlyn and Moses!!!!
