Photographing weddings is fun…especially when it is your friend who is getting married. And at a beautiful venue called Sinkland Farms! Sinkland Farms sits outside of Blacksburg, Virginia and was the absolute perfect venue for Alex and Lauren to celebrate their wedding with family and friends.
No detail was left undone—Lauren had so many wonderful details throughout the venue from the beautiful jam her sister Casey made, to a table honoring those that couldn’t be there to celebrate.
And while some may say that Mother Nature threw a kink into this beautiful day, Wedding Coordinator Ciji Good and her team made a quick decision to do cocktail hour first to allow a storm to pass so the wedding ceremony could still be outside as planned. This was quite a hit with the guests! After the storm passed, the wedding went on without a hitch—from beautiful toasts to a lovely dinner by Pumpernickel Pickle...the evening couldn’t have been any better. Wait, actually, it did continue to get better—Sugar Magnolia arrived with their mobile ice cream unit and served the wedding guests! How cool is that?
The evening ended far too quick with a beautiful sparkler exit before Lauren and Alex departed. Enjoy a few sneak peeks of this special day at Sinkland Farms with Alex and Lauren!
