A Devils Backbone Wedding | Sam + Gussie | Roseland, VA

Sam + Gussie celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Devil’s Backbone Brewing Co. near Wintergreen Resort. Since their wedding was going to have a rural mountain feel, we did their engagement session where they live, in Baltimore, MD. Click here to see their beautiful engagement photos.

After the session in Baltimore, I couldn’t wait for this special wedding day. Sam + Gussie are the perfect match and have a love for life and adventure that many would admire. Their wedding day was filled with beautiful fall colors, lots of laughing, a few tears (happy of course) and more laughing—for example when Gussie sent a friend in a toilet paper dress for what was “Sam + Gussie’s First Look” as a prank on Sam. Donuts, Ice Cream, and Cake. Could you ask for anything else at a wedding reception?! Amazing!!!

After their fun filled weekend, the two headed south with their Airstream to spend a week on the beach soaking in some sun and warm air before returning back to Baltimore when they reunite with their fur babies.
